92 Seadoo wont pump water out of bilge

I have a 92 Seadoo, had a small crack in the hull, above the waterline, it was never a problem, because the pumps would always pump the water out...I dont know if I bothered something when I hooked the hoses up this year after dewinterizing, but now the pumps wont pump the water out....I've tried looking for a hose disconnected, but everything looks ok. Bought a Seloc manual, but can;t find anything about that pump system in there...any idea what to look for? I'm assuming those pumps work off a vacuum somehow?

check for corroded connections in your wiring. those pumps don't last forever though.

they are simply siphon hoses working off the pump thrust, either the hoses are clogged up or the rubber o rings between the pump and forcing cone are leaking air in and not sucking water out did you remove the back of the pump if so you may not have put in the o rings

There are two little tubes in the jet nozzle that you should see sticking into the stream. If either of those are missing, you will actually pump water IN with the bilge pumps. The pumps work by the suction going past those tubes, with them gone it is actually a high pressure area.

Also make sure the tubing and intakes are clear and you don't have crap stuck on the hull intake side, its easy to plug those up with oil residue.

Not sure what you mean by tubes? I see some holes in the cone, and they look exactly like my 93 XP, which does drain ok....If it ever stops raining I'm going to try some compressed air both ways thru the tubes to make sure both they and the strainers are clear....thanks for all the help...

UPDATE: the hoses are all clear as are the strainers, blew compressed air thru them all....I did find a hose though thats disconnected, not sure where it goes...the end thats connected is just under the seat, at the rear of the craft...it appears to be some sort of vent, but the other end just lays in the bilge, is that normal?

I've only got experience with 1996+ pumps, so I assumed it was similar... Here is a disassembled view, looking at the stator from the back. Those two white tubes are what make up the suction end of the bilge. If they are missing you end up with a high pressure area and water pumping into the bilge, not out of it. (they are just pressure fit in, so age alone will make them fall out eventually)

having a hose laying there is NOT normal. It could be the water telltale line (small hose), or possibly one that should run to the exhaust. I guess about the easiest would be to get it to the water, keep it on the trailer and start it up. Rev it up to 2500 rpm or so, enough to get everything pumping.
