93 115hp on a 82 lower unit

i have an 82 115 hp with a bad powerhead but a good lower unit and have the chance to pickup a 93 115 with no lower unit will the older lower fit the newer upper? any help would be great thanks

I replaced an old 78 OMC with a new 94 115hp powerhead on the old lower unit(it was rebuilt too as drive shaft sheared) and it has worked great.

ok thanks for the info will start pulling the old lower off and hope it all fits

fit like a glove bolted right up
