Boat ran with vro hooked up. Thought I just had to unhook it! Thats twice I wish I didn't listen to myself (should've skipped the 1st wife). Plugged the vro and the motor would'nt idle or run well under a full load.
Unplugged the vro and put the motor on fresh gas, ran great.
Ezeke, thanks for the help, I plugged the vro at the pump and unplugged the wiring harness. Motor ran on the hose. At the lake ran like crap.
Question, could the vro be sucking air internally? If not then maybe carbs., but I don't think so. I don't mind rebuilding the vro but only if I need to.
Also, does anyone know the correct part no. for a gas only vro for this motor.
(Still have about 60 gallons of mix to burn.) Thanks for any help.
