I just got this very nice 6HP evinrude short shaft that has little use and was professionally winterized and stored a few years.
I started it and it runs beautifully, but, doesn't want to idle down enough without grabbing the linkage inside the cover and manually backing it down. Is there a common aspect to tighten up, or lube up that might be an easy fix?
