93 force low speed over heat also top end

ok thanks for the input, howabout any info about the top end??? My 93 force 125 overheats at low speeds I replaced the impeller last year and it seemed fine, now----. It doesn't seem to be spitting water at low speeds or idle. I am also having a problem with the top end, it runs good but there is just not much on the top end, it is slow to get up and it doesn't go as fast as it should.

First of all, your motor is not a 1993 model.
The last year of the 125 hp was 1989.
1990 thru 1999 was a 120 hp.

First thing to do is to check the compression on all cylinders.
If compression is good, remove the lower unit and inspect the impeller. Sometimes they just don't last, especially if you run them dry or thru sand.
