Hey there, I recently bought a 93 Wellcraft. I am in the process of doing a gimble bearing and bellows replacement. When I bought it I noticed there was no gear oil bottle on the engine, I assumed it was because it was a older gen two and it probably wasn't an option yet. When I took the drive off however there is the hole in the bellhousing for where the fill hose would come through and there is the little ball valve thing on the side of the drive. I don't care about having the bottle as I keep a close eye on my drive as it is. I just want to make sure before I reassemble it that I am not taking a risk of having my drive leak. Any input would be great!
