I have a 93 seadoo gtx 587cc with twin black mikuni carbs.

my problem is that the ski will start fine and and run in the water for however long is needed but when I turn it off it will not restart. It cranks but will not start and run. I rebuilt the carbs it still did it and I took off the carbs, cleaned and checked everything was ok. I took it out and it did it again. I also put one of those spark checkers on the plugs while trying to start it and I noticed that when it would first start to crank the light was bright and then would go dim. Could this be the coil/ign module since they are the same unit?
Need help! If there is any more info you need please let me know and I will tell you as much as I can.

put a volt meter on the battery and see what voltage it is putting out while it is cranking,, if it drops below 11 volts replace it.
on a ski that old you need to clean and inspect all your ground conections, try a new ground to the front electrical box.

Would you explain further on how to attach a new ground on the front of the electrical box. The grounds I have found are in the electrical box and the one from the battery to where the starter attaches. Are there any more that I am not aware of?

Where I do I attach the ends? Are all the grounds in the electrical box and the one from the battery to the starter attach bolt?
