...tyring to fix the grand kid's '93 Waverunner WRA 650 RA.
No cooling water to the engine when waterborne. I can run it all day long on the hose with no overheating (of course, no load either).
I have removed the 'skid plate' and the reverse/ nozzle assemblies to gain access to the two hoses in the aft pump housing, removed both hoses and confirmed with low pressure air that both are clear. (As I understand it, the port hose is a suction line to the eductor in the engine compartment and the starboard hose supplies water to the engine).
I have also removed the exhaust elbow, 'riser' and manifold looking for obstructions....none found.
Any body got any ideas why I'm not gettin cooling water waterborne???
(As a footnote, when waterborne (still strapped to the trailer) with the engine running, I can remove the hose plug and/or the air bleed line from the head-to-the-exhaust riser and no water is present. Yet, when running on the hose, water flows freely from the air bleed line when removed. I'm stumped)
