Re: 94 115

just trying to figure out a solid tone my horn is giving me dont believe its running hot. Did it the other day after only running a couple hundred yards. The water in the tale tale wasn't even warm so I think its gonna be a fuel restriction. I was reading some things about checking a "vacuum switch" but not sure where I need to look to find it. I am not sure what a pulse limiter is though so could be same thing. thanks.

The vacuum switch was limited to the V6 engines only. A constant horn is an overheat. Borrow/rent a laser temp gun and see how hot the heads are getting. You may have at least one thermostat which is stuck closed. You can still have an overheat with a strong/cool telltale if one of the stats is stuck shut. The stuck stat won't let the cooling water circulate thru the powerhead.
