94 120 Looper - help me identify a vacuum hose

94 V-4 looper, viewing from the port side, the hose attaches to a fitting coming out of the crankcase, immediately underneath the pulse limiter and directly above the shift rod connector. Can't find it in my Clymer manual. I'm wondering what is is for and if it should be open on the other end, or connected to something. I found it loose on the other end when changing out my primer solenoid.

Looks long enough to be the drain hose to the air silencer.
