Took the boat out to a local lake to see if I sould find my intermittent stalling problem. I did each of the following tests with no change:

Disconnected the kill switch
Disconnected the temperature sensors
Installed a remote fuel tank

The boat idles fine. when I get on it it will run for a minute or so than competely quits. Its like shutting off a light. There is no sputtering etc, it completly dies. I'm again thinking a bad power pack. I had my friend check for spark while running. When it dies he said there was no spark. Could this be the power pack, coil, or loose or corroded ground of the pack or coils?? I'm kind of at a loss, but will continue to test. What are the symptoms of a failing powerpack?

BTW, when it dies, I do not get any warning horn etc. I have checked the operation of the horns and they are working fine.

Hydra, You need to rule out loss of fuel as the culprit. Have someone pump the primer bulb while you repeat the test. if the motor still dies, it is likely an intermittent ignition component. A factory service manual can save you some $$ by isolating the component.
