94 force 70 hp exhaust tube seal

Just spent $150 for all the seals, impeller etc to fix the water pump.

After we pulled the foot off a very badly worn piece of red rubber/foam dropped out of the exhaust tube as well as a small black seal of some kind.

Well, no problem, I thought I will just order one.

The piece, I think is the exhaust tube seal. Part is no longer available.

Anybody have any suggestions, or should I just return the other parts I bought that I guess I do not need.

What kind of problem would I have if I just put it back together without the seal?

Found two places that stock some discontinued stock
