94 johnson 200 hp venom inconsistent spark

I have a 94 johnson 200 hp venom I bought from a guy and it is brand new and never been ran. It sat as a display till now.. I put it on my boat switch had a mercury before, and when I tested spark it's not consistent at all. Starboard side get more spark then the port which is almost none. I'm wondering if my power pack has went bad. I wouldn't think it would be bad just from sitting. Everything looks as if just came from the factory.

Something 27 years old isn't "new" from a materials standpoint.

UV and ozone have certainly taken their toll on every bit of rubber, (encapsulations, hoses, wiring,) in the motor. The wiring may get by, but certainly all the hoses need changed. Any encapsulated components (i.e. coils, stator, etc.) are certainly suspect at this point.
