Can anyone explain how to use this carb/pump/primer system for me? It's a 94 Johnson 25 hp with steering controls. Pull start. I just don't know exactly how this works, or how to Rev it up at all since it goes into gear when moving throttle
What control box do you have? Can you post a pic? Different boxes allow neutral warm-up in different ways.
The primer system is just that, a primer pump that squirts a shot of fuel into the manifold every time you pull the knob out. 2-3 shots for a cold start are all you should need.
