I have a 1994 Martinique 3200. I need to replace both fuel senders. The port side tank is easily accessible via a storage compartment removal. Has anyone ever replaced their starboard side fuel sender? There is no panel access, and there appears to be less than 4" of clearance between the sender and solid fiberglass above which is a bumped out wall before the aft exit. If you have one you will know what I am talking about.

I know this is a long shot but....
If anyone has any idea about how to take the old one out and replace it with a new one with that little clearance please give me a tip. The only thing I can think of is maybe tilt the tank when it is empty, but I don't think there is enough clearance to do that either.

In the same situation did you find a way to replace the starboard sender

No. As of right now, the new fuel sender sits in a box. The only option will be to cut a hole at the bottom bow end of the starboard aft side storage compartmentand then figure out a way to patch up the hole. There appears to be no way to angle the tank out to remove the old/install the new sender. Port side was a no brainer, by just removing the entire storage compartment above it. This one will be ugly. If you've got a solution, let me know.
