'95 8 hp Mariner specs

I just bought an 8 hp short shaft mariner 2 stroke. I'm wondering if this motor uses the same block as the 9.9 and the 15 motors and if so what changes need to be made to increase the horsepower of this little motor.

The pre 1995 shared the same blocks, but in 1995 the motors was changed. The 8 is 209cc and the 909/15 is 262cc.
