I am wondering where I can find a water flow drawing for a 1995 90 hp Johnson
Mine is over heating, thinking a clog some where, but don't know where to look. If I had a drawing may that would lend some insite as to where it might be clogged.

Is that a 90* V4 or a 60* V4 motor? I think they had both models that model year, and they are different.

It certainly makes sense to stick a hose into the thermostat holes and back flush her.

The model number is J90TLEOR. We put in a new water pump assemble. When putting it back together is it possible to have missed getting the water tube in where it goes into the top of the motor.
If so where would the water flow out of the motor.
when we first started motor this year and the alarm went off only the right side head was getting hot. we replaced that thermostat and the water pump and then both sides got hot.
Does any of this add up to the tube not being installed correctly.

The tube is supposed to stay up in the exhaust housing.---Tube does not come out with the pump !
