95 crestliner proam 1650sc fuel tank?

i know its in the floor, and apparently its huge, or my gas guage is lying to me, i purchased the boat an unknown amount of fuel the guage stating half full, i added fuel today after 7-8 gallons the guage had moved only to 3/4 tank... no fuel in the bilge that i can see


anyone know how big this tank actually is? motor is a 70 hp johnson any idea how thirsty will it be?
and are the fuel gauges somewhat accurate?

it is a side console boat and is claimed to be the original combo as sold in 95 boat motor trailer.

found the answer right on the boat 28 gallon aluminum tank found the tag on the tank is visible through the sending unit access hole in the floor. after wiping off 15 years worth of crud
