95 Evinrude 115 stalls

I have a 1995 115 Evinrude that idles great in neutral, but keeps stalling when I put it in gear. The tach says it's idling around 8 to 900 in neutral. Thanks for any insight. It's a low hour motor on a 19 ft Trophy CC. Fuel is fresh, it starts up easily. Runs great off idle all the way to 6K. Has a 14 3/4 x 19 prop

Your needle valves might need backing out a touch.
They a on the front of the carbs

might be line stuck on the inside of your prop

Sounds like it's running lean. Open up the idle mixture screws 2 or 3 turns and see what happens.
