95 Evinrude 48 SPL/kill switch

I have a T H Marine part # KS-1-DP do I wire it up at the ignition switch to the M (kill switch) and M (ground)or should I run wires thru boat and wire the kill switch red wire to the motor just before the three wire connector that connects the power pack leads to the ignition coils,which would be the black/yellow wire and ground to the motor ground,any advice would be helpfull Thanks

not sure what you mean by the control if you mean the throttle box it is the same that came with the outboard.I thought they all had the same wiring legend form 1974 and up,but I could be wrong Thank you for your advice ezeke.

correct black/yellow and ground on ignition.

Thanks to everyone for the advice,I got the kill switch wired in,only it`s still too cold for me here in Arkansas,when it warms backup I will let you know how it turned out,hopefully I got it right,Thanks again to all.
