Recently replaced stator and timer base due to erratic idle and goooey tar dripping on top of power head from stator. Engine runs good from idle to WOT. However, the console volt meter now reads around 14.7 to near 15 volts from 4000 rpm to WOT. At idle and trolling speeds it reads 13 or so. Meter green range tops out at 15 volts. Should I be concerned about this higher charging voltage? I've never seen it read more than 14 volts at speed since owning the boat for some 22 years.

I appreciate the feedback guys. I needed an added dose of confidence to go along with the engine running good again.
