I have a 225 XRI, that has a spot just off idle when accelerating especially when accelerating slowly. My plugs seem to get oily pretty quickly, & it seems to through out a lot of oil from the exhaust. Other than the acceleration problem spot it runs pretty good. I can get 5600-5700 trimmed out. I run a carbon deposit additive w/ every drop of gas, & have since new, I decarb w/ merc product every year, I checked TPS, replaced fuel filters, fresh gas, temp sensors, map sensor, etc. Checked compression 95# on top 4, last 2 were 93#, but I figure that was due to engine cooling off. I have always looked for cylinder to cylinder differences, but is this too low? The engine has aprox. 550 hours on it had it since new in '95, never been inside it, I believe these engines have sealing rings instead of head gaskets, is this true? If so should they be changed? I have also run fuel system cleaner through the engine, w/ very little change. Thanks for any replys, Joe
