Just out of storage, 95 OMC cobra SX outdrive had gear oil changed and refilled at end of last season. Before initial start, levels were good. Started up and put in gear and then shut down. when oil dipstick was removed oil began oozing out the hole. Is this normal??? Is this just because the oil is heated and under pressure from revving ? Just wanted to be sure that oil was well circulated throughout the lower unit in order to verify full level before starting the season.
