I have a chance to buy into a 95 Boston Whaler venture 18 with the above listed engine.<br />The motor is run in salt water and is not fresh water flushed after use. I would change that, but can these motors survive this for some 8 years?<br />Can I desalt it with some type of product?<br />Should the heads be pulled yearly(I dont want to get into the frozen head bolt scenario)?<br />The vro has been disconnected, but I would like to reconect it. Is this a good year for VRO?<br />I'll be able to take the boat to my house for a complete pre purchase check up this weekend.<br />Thanks for your comments. Scott
