im changing out the empeller and the plate that rests against the impeller has some what looks like salt deposits. Also there is the same thing on the lower unit where the water passes to the water pump. What is the best way to clean that off? It was working fine just figured id change it out since ive had it 2 years. The old impeller didnt look verry bad but want to clean everything out
