96 150 faststrike

I have a fastrike that has a intermitant stall. Will be cruising and will just shut off. Has restarted so far. any ideas. One last thing, I think a friend jump started battery with the trolling motor batteries which is 24 volt but can't comfirm this. Thanks

24 volt use 2 batteries, to make the 24 volts, doubt that is your problem. does it immediately restart? have you check the emergeny kill lanyard, sometimes they get worn, and a juggle can activate them. short in ignition wiring, especially the black/yellow wire, which is the kill wire.

I know that there are two batteries to make 24 volts, I ment that I can't confirm that he did this except his wife told him there was smoke from engine cowl when jup starting it. Have since replaced regulator as it was overcharging. Thanks
