96 175 HP trim motor

I just bought a boat with a pair of 1996 175 Hp johnson oceanrunners. bolth trim motors work but have corrosion (one verry bad) The way the trim motor is tucked in the motor mount area i dont see how the rear bolts can be accessed the wat there stuck in there. any help?

Do a search. there was a post just recently that covered your problem.

best to remove the units. most likly at least one of the 4 bolts will snap and occasionally I snap all 4.
