So after a disastrous last season with this motor, and blowing out adapter plate gaskets in under 10 hours I pulled the powerhead off and found my adapter plate is cracked. I highlighted the cracks in red on the picture. It also has a very slight warp to it, it will rock back and forth on a flat plat by maybe a MM. So my initial reaction is new plate. Except ebay is turning up dry.

So first off does anyone know any other sites i might be able to pickup an adapter plate.

Another extreme option that I don't even know is possible would be take it to a machine shop have them weld up the cracks and then will the plate flat.

Any Ideas?

Yeah I don't see anything out there on the net. Welding up and then milling flat would be your only other option. I doubt that using epoxy would work well because that area is under significant stress.
