i bought an '84 alumacraft with a 1996-48 hp. johnson. has any ever heard of this engine? i'd like to get an owners manual.<br /> thanks,<br /> jimbob

Jimbobv.. Sure have heard of the 48Hp... Fine engine.. <br />Basicly a "less appointed, no frills" version of the 40-50HP series of engines..<br /><br />iboats has a Clymer service manual for $30.61 that covers- 1995-1998 Evinrude/Johnson 2-70 HP Outboard and Jet Drive Part # 156-B735... That will cover you...
