There was a service bulleting back then about motors in a certain serial number range, that had the upper bearing bolts loosen up due to grease in the holes. They sent out gold colored locking bolts to cure the problem. If you have the gold bolts, you are home free. If they are still painted black, then your motor is outside the serial number range, or the mod was not done. See a dealer to check your motor's serial number to see if it was included.
