That depends a great deal on its condition, where you are, etc. Check E-bay, your local newspaper classifieds, boat trader magazines at your local convenience store, Craigs List, and the gazillion on-line marine dealers. Throw out the highest and lowest prices and yours would likely be somewhere in-between - again depending on condition.
Here is a typical fresh water 40 hp tiller, electric start, 2000 model year and it's listed for $2495. No 50 remotes on this particular site at this time. That's a very popular motor and you should have no problem selling it. If it's a salt water motor -- little different story and probably worth much less.
