My 9.9 johnson has some gear issues. When I start the motor the propeller turns in neutral. I just bought this motor and got it running with a carb clean but I'm not sure what's wrong with the gears. The plastic piece in the red oval was snapped so I replaced that but Im not sure how far its meant to screw in? Also the bar looks bent is that correct? I also can't even put it into forward gear. When I try to the thing in the red box is no where near where its supposed to be to engage. If I try to put it forward it's so tough, if I tried any harder it would snap. Also, is there supposed to be something on the part with the red arrows? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys
