My outboard runs for 15 minutes and then stalls and wont start until it sits for 45 minutes. Is this a symptom of running too lean and a sensor shuts itself down? Maybe temp? It doesn’t smoke at all and i have a oil reservoir. Thinking of draining that and just moving to premixed fuel. Thanks

Adding more to maybe get a reply from someone. Just had a mechanic replace fuel line, stator, plugs. Idles fine at dock but after running for 15 minutes it stalls and won’t even turn over for 15 - 20 minutes. Then starts up fine again. Thanks.

Is the motor running hot? Does it seize up, or shut off?

Is water pump working?

Ditto on the fuel tank vent... That sounds like you are creating a vacuum in the fuel tank and starving the engine of fuel. On board fuel tank or portable??

Yep, sounds like a vacume in the tank. Check the vent.
