My outboard's fuel line is looking a little worse for wear. No leaks yet but it is developing small surface cracks that I would like to rectify. The problem is I find lots of videos on how to replace the fuels lines on 50hp outboards with portable fuel tanks but not a lot on how to replace the lines on a 96 Sea Ray with an in-built tank. It really looks like you could not remove the tank without cutting the stern open.... It looks like it has a simple snap-on connector on the engine side but I am unsure of which hose to buy for this engine size or if there are any "gotchas" that I could mess up on and have to replace the entire tank for some reason. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Would the best bet be to call up the local Sea Ray dealer and just pay for the OEM part or could I get by with something from say Amazon? If I could get OEM quality at online prices that would be cool. Thanks so much.
