Ok I decided to clean carb on this motor till I decide what to do with the 1956 johnson I have! I got it together and took it out and ran pretty good, but just didnt seem to have the power it use to have. We got it home, clean and oiled gears. Took it out the next day and started up and ran a couple hundred yards, then it just died! I never could get it started until I got it home and readjusted the point. Got it back together and it started on 2nd pull, then died! I then put new plugs in it and it still wouldnt start! I then checked the spark in the plugs and they both had spark, but seemed a little weak! I still cant get it to start, does anyone have an idea what the problem could be?
