Impeller toast. Need to "Back Flush" to remove small impeller parts possibly ingested into water jackets. Is this a DIY situation? Doesn't sound too involved. Already have lower unit removed.

its best to get a compleat kit and change the gear houseing seal that comes with it<br /><br /> http://www.boatfix.com/merc/Servmanl/14/14b3.pdf <br /><br /><br />this is the section of the service manual on the pump look through it carefully there are a lot of small things like the quad ring that are easy to miss<br /><br />its a very DIY job but dont rush <br /><br />tommays
