I have a 97 mercury efi 150 2.5L ... The motor runs great when first started and does very well at open throttle. However once the engine is warm after i've ran a couple miles it will not idle when i let off. It bogs down on idle, dies, and will not fire back. I pulled all plugs and cranked the motor, replaced them and it fired right away. Is it flooding at idle? If so why and why does it only do it when it's warmed up? Any help is greatly appreciated, i have a tournament in two days and im trying to figure this out. .......... I have disabled the oil injection system and started pre-mixing. Could this cause this problem. maybe to much oil at idle????
