97 Yamaha 250 Steering

Hi Group,<br /><br />The Hynautic steering cylinder on my Yamaha is leaking and I ordered a rebuild kit. It should be here today. <br /><br />Can someone point my in the right direction as to how to disassemble and rebuild the cylinder? It seems simple, but I had trouble this weekend trying to remove the cylinder from the boat.<br /><br />Thanks,<br />Tom

can you post the cyl number and the type of helm? only about a billion combinations.

Hi Rodbolt,<br /><br />Not sure about the helm, but the cylinder that I need to rebuild is a K13,14. I just got the KS01 rebuild kit yesterday. Does that help?<br /><br />Tom
