Took fishing last weekend ran fine first part of trip, begun running rough and finally died. The motor will only start at Full throttle, choked, and in nuetral when running runs fine soon as you bring it off wot it dies. I can keep it running in nuetral by hand throttling carbs and feathering the choke but still wont run down completely to idle. Replaced fuel pump diaphrams and it functions well changed fuel filters but no luck. Checked the carbs, this one has two carb units that appear to have double throttle plates both sides of carb have what appears to be bowl drains. I removed the starboard side bowl drain and fuel runs out well, removed port side drain no fuel runs out, if I force the prime bulb a small amount will drip out. does any one know if this sounds right for carb, does each unit have two seperate bowls.
