did some searching on this and there were a lot of different answers.<br /><br />when i winterized this year, i changes the gear oil out. it wasnt real runny, but quilte thick and yellowish looking. i couldnt tell if it was water or nut. i had the powerhead rebuilt last year and supposively he changed the gear oil for me. <br /><br /><br />do i have to re seal the lower unit? if i do i would rather just get ever gasket there is for the lower unit. <br /><br />if not, was the wrong oil used? i use quicksilver always.<br /><br />im going to change it again before i put her in this year.
