I have a 98 Larson LXI 226 and I can't seem to get a set of skis into the ski compartment. The door opens so you can load the skis as if they are to go into the Bow, I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue. I am kind of wondering why did they build a ski compartment if you can't put skis in it. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks

I can get mine in there. What exactly is the problem? Are they too long to fit through the opening? My sons Wake board fits too but we have to remove a boot. (97 226 LXi)

I agree, the ski compartments are a little snug, but they should fit. What are the dimensions of the skis? I can stow a pair of skis, shoes and a mirror with a little room to spare.

The skis are 67" and they are just a little short of going in if the skis were 65" they would probably make it. The hole into the bow is either to shallow or too small.

We couldn't get the skis in our 204 Escape either. What we found was that the boots on the skis were too stiff, and wouldn't fold down enough to go in. The dealer had a set same length, with a softer boot, went right in.
