Just pick up a 19' Center Console boat w/ a 115hp 2-stroke.

Does look like it has been starter since possibly last year. Any advice on firing it up for the first time?
First attempts would only idle for 5 sec then quit.

Any advice would greatly be appreciated.

remove all sparkplugs od inject a small amount of 2 stroke oil in the bores as they will be dry crank it over once or twice (dont stand by the spark plug holes when doing this cos you will be covered in it) then clean and refit spark plugs and run it in water not dry or it will sieze. run for approx 15 min and then let it cool and all should be good.

Is that the inline 6? Ive got the same motor. couple more things...check all your plugs for spark. check your battery (low bat will not turn starter at proper speed). use new gas/oil mix. check bulb/tank/lines for good fuel flow and venting. that motor is kinda a ***** to start cold...there used to be a really nice thread just dedicated to starting that big girl, but cant find it. Basically it said to pump the bulb hard, then give it 2-3 more pumps on top of that. choke the motor, put the start lever about half way up, then turn the key. it worked for me.

this is just for a quick start check. really if your just buying the boat and you dont know the motor, you should have the compression checked, clean/check all wiring, rebuild fuel pump, put in new impeller, change foot oil, re-build carbs if needed, and thats just for starters. good luck!

OH, and if your still having trouble starting, do all the above, then get a small squirt bottle of pre-mix (gas/oil) and squirt into the carbs while cranking...that really helped in the begining.
