98 merc 9.9 fourstroke
runs great but to start it ive got to pull the cowl off and hold the idle high, or just run the idle screw up so that the idles set high..
once warm it starts at a lower idle
only familiar with old oil burners..
this motor appears to have an electric choke
im looking for the choke to be the problem
has anyone got any suggestions?
is there a factory rpm setting for low idle in neutral?
