I just joined Iboats, great site. I have a 98 Nissan 30hp outboard. I have rebuilt the carb with nissan carb kit, cleaned the carb, I have good prime on the fuel bulb, the float is sealing good; everything I know to do in the process of elimination. My problem is when i choke it and pull start it once or twice then push the choke back in a little gas runs out of the carb so when the boat is on the trailer at the house it will idle and run at any rpm all day long. When I get it to the boat ramp, I back it into the water and it floods its self out. With the angle of the boat ramp I think the access fuel in the carb is running into the moter whereas when its on the trailer at the house the fuel cant run back in the carb because its on level ground with moter tilted up slightly. At the ramp it will idle for a short amount of time (5 to 10 sec) and then die and will not start again. So I choke it and pull start it once or twice, nothing happens then I push the choke back in once again it leeks a little gas then I pull start it again with choke off and it runs till it dies again 5 to ten sec. PLEASE HELP
