98 Suzuki 200 EFI wont die!

[Knot Working]

Tried to turn off motors last weeked and one would not cut off. I turned key off and even pulled kill switch but it still kept running. Guess it's better than not starting but does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

It sounds like a harness problem.Check the connections at the engine and make sure they're pushed together.Usually on outboards they will run with the harness disconnected(sounds like what happened to yours when even the kill switch wouldn't work) They need the harness with the key or kill switch to ground the ignition to shut down.Other wise it will run and no t shut down.
I had a no start while out fishing,it would crank but no fire.So as a quick check I disconnected the harness at the engine and jumped the starter solenoid and she fired.Turned out to be a bad ignition switch,but at least i got back.I had to plug the harness back together to shut down.
