99 130 Will not exceed 2400rpm's

Its acting like its fuel starved. The filter is not that old. When I started the boat yesterday idled fine,put it in gear,left the dock and it quit.Could not get it to start again. squeezed the bulb and it did get hard. Squeezed it again and it went soft like it was blocked or something.Started right up so i pulled out again. At about 2400 rpms it would bogg and shutter till I came back off the throttle. Please any suggestions? I cannot afford to take it back to the shop for at least another month..<br /> Thanks in advance.. James

It sat for 30 days. It was out on the 4 th July and ran fine..

BTW -- excellent job on the boat! Very nice!<br /><br />Just out of couriosity, did you ever consider going with a full transom and a bracket?

When you start the motor the idle is up slightly until it warms up then the idle comes down by itself.

Yes it does runs at about 1200 rpm's and drops to 800 rpm's.
