Gents,

I'm looking for some information on what size prop I should run on the above engine. I currently have a 14.5X19 SST and a 21x15 I believe in aluminum. I've not had the boat out yet to see my numbers..I was wondering if there was a stock prop I should use as a baseline.

The boat is a 85 Grady 24 Offshore Pro.

Thanks,
Duke1

PS- I found one of the threads about ventilating the prop..very interesting. Should I go three blades or four.

My off-the-cuff guess is that the 19 is probably close but a tad big. Especially if the motor is mounted all the way down. If the prop is worn it may spin up. Or if it's really an SST rather than an SST II. Once you run it and get the numbers we can figure the slip.

Thanks for the words. I'll let you know when I run it and get the numbers.
