99 9.9 merc weak spark need help

1999 9.9 weak spark where do i start, has new wires and plugs,what would cause it to have a weak spark, do not have test equipment so will have to try process of elimination,what first coils trigger stator or cdm any help would be appreciated.

Well how do you know if it indeed has weak spark if you don't have the proper tools to test it with?

can just barely see spark and barely runs plugs are wet carb is clean new fuel pump and gaskets and new plugs and wires plug gap calls for 0.60 but will only run gapped at 0.40 willing to gamble on another part but need an idea as what to buy next tested stator with my digital autoanalyzer and the ohms were on rx1 book says 370 to 445 and were only 323 so i am really looking for a little advice as to buy a stator or something else . any advice would be appreciated as i am on disability and cannot really afford a dva meter at this time, i am pretty good auto mech. but hard to diagnos electrical prob. thanks jedi
