I have a w/a 21 trophy w / 125hp mercury saltwater 2 stroke
the problem is it lean to the port side when iam driving it .also is hard to drive because it pulls to starboard side really hard to control . I have tried to adjust the tab above the prop to the left side didn't work . The boat sits flat and even on the water long as iam not driving

Is this a new to you boat? Or did this just start happening on a boat you've owned for a while? The quick checks I would make are prop, skeg, trim tab and motor mounting.

It' a new boat for me I have only taking it out three time to fish I bought it from Original owner . I have changed the prop from 17 pitch to 19 because the prop had issues I did try turning the trim trim tab ( the one over the prop) to the left side just made it harder to steer. How can I tell if the mounting is bad . Thanks 66tracys

A neighbor developed a hard pull to starboard after he repowered. He struggled the entire summer before asking if I would take a look at it.

Long story short, the dealer knowingly put a 25” leg on a 20” transom.

In the end it took a lawyer to fix his problem.

Being an older glass boat id also check for soaked foam, possibly a damaged hull, and also a weak transom.Though id rather solve the problem the symptoms may be mitigated by installing nauticus(sp) smart tabs.

Some leaning to port is normal for a right hand prop. That's why they put the helm on the starboard side. Just have your passengers move accordingly.

If it pulls hard to starboard, you need to move the tab right, not left.

Find out what the maximum recommended engine rpms are. Put the prop on gives the closest reading to that number.
