OK... last season I replaced my old engine with a 1999 Johnson 115 60 degree looper. but when I got it on my 1974 16 foot baja, i noticed that the transom was rotten. fastforeward 8 months, I replaced the transom, it is solid as a rock, but I took it out and I had some gauge trouble... I think  . it was just a test run so i kept it at about 4500 rpms but i took it up to 5000 once and it seemed too slow. the prop is an 18p raker that seemed just right for my old motor (1974 johnson 115). so, it seems that either my tach is not set up right, or i need to go up in pitch. also, my trim gauge is messed up. it goes below the DOWN end of the guage when trimmed in all the way and stops short of the UP end when it still has a little bit to go before it goes on trailer tilt. what is the WOT rpms for the 1999 johnson 115? and, what should I do with the prop/tach situation?<br />THANKS guys :D
